How to dry shoes right for everyday use?

The main thing - do not to dry shoes on the battery and near the heaters, as the skin can shrink and deform. Ideally, shoes need to be dried on wooden struts (if you don’t have it, then you can just put newspaper or toilet paper inside) and only witht room temperature.

What to do with the salt stains?

It is very difficult to get rid of salt stains, so it is better to avoid them. Use universal waterproof spray!

How long a pair of insoles can be used?

For hygienic reasons, we recommend to change insoles at least once a month.

Which insoles is it better to choose from winter types?

Felt insoles are very thin, so will be the best option for a tight shoes.

Fur insoles are perfect for those who spend a lot of time indoors, without changing shoes (eg. students in a lecture). Since indoor the foot in winter shoes overheating and sweating, and the carbon layer of fur insoles absorbs moisture quickly and neutralizes unpleasant smell. So fur insoles are warm in the street and comfortable indoors.

Woolen insoles protect against the cold not only due to the natural wool, but also due to foil, which keeps you warm up and do not allow the cold and moisture to get inside from the soles.

What for to use cleaning foam spray if you can just wash shoes with water?

It isn’t recommend to wash shoes with water or wet cloth as leather gets wet quickly. If you do so regularly, shoes can become deformed and very soon will lose their appearance. Foam cleaner easily removes the dirt, and also activates the skin's ability to «breathe».

Can I use cream or paint to repaint the shoes in a different color?

No! Creams and paint aerosols only update the color.

What is the difference of liquid cream from usual?

Liquid texture allows the cream to be absorbed into the pores of the skin faster, making it more convenient to use. And it is necessary for shoes from woven and perforated leather, as thick cream will be applied unevenly.

How often should I use the cream?

DAMAVIK cream or paint for smooth skin needs to be used 1-2 times a week. And for the shoes were in perfect condition every day, it’s enough to polish them.

Is it necessary to polish the shoes after applying the cream?

Yes, it is. As cream contains soft (natural) waxes which only gives gloss after polishing. For shoes it is the best option, because only such cream penetrates into the pores of the skin, nourishes it and not superimposed unlike any cream with instant shine (there as part of a hard (synthetic) wax, which, though shiny, but it creates a surface on the skin that needs to be cleaned off, otherwise the crust from old layers of cream and dust will be formed).

For which shoes you can not use waterproof spray?

Waterproof spray can not be used for lacquer and synthetic smooth skin. For all other types of skin, including textiles, it can and should be used.

Should I use a waterproof spray, If I use a cream or paint with a waterproof characteristic?

Yes. Since the components of the cream or waterproof paint provide only partial protection from moisture. The maximum protective effect can be reached only with waterproof spray.

How to use a waterproof spray correctly?

Waterprrof spray should be applied only to a clean and dry surface (if you used cream, after polishing). This should be the final stage of shoecare! Ideally to apply waterproof spray in the evening to allow it to penetrate fully into the pores of the skin. On new shoesit is better to use it for several times with a thin layer for maximum protective effect.
